VIC:Jail for violent vigilantes
A judge has described an attack on a Melbourne drug addict as callous and brutal.
The Victorian County Court has heard AMRULA DENIZ TASKIRAN and JOSEPH NABALARUA punched
.. kicked and stomped on HAROLD NOYAUX in September last year .. because they believed
he was trying to break into a relative's car.
The attack left Mr NOYAUX .. a drug addict .. with an acquired brain injury.
TASKIRAN has been jailed for eight years and six months with a non-parole period of
six-and-a-half years.
NABALARUA has been imprisoned for seven years with a minimum of five years.
