The motorcycle: doorless, compact and a knife in the wind. But the same qualities that make the two-wheelers the epitome of open road freedom also make them among the most dangerous vehicles on the road.
In the last five weeks, five people, including Kristin Hynes and Jason M. Rose, both last week, have died as a result of motorcycle accidents throughout the Capital Region. And in only one of these incidents did the motorcycle collide with another car. In the other four, the motorcyclist lost control of his or her bike.
