WA: Police charge man over 10 hour seige
Police have charged a 38-year-old man with attempted murder following a 10-hour siege
in the Perth suburb of Balga that ended peacefully this morning.
HERBERT JOHN TURVEY is charged with the attempted murder of his de facto wife, whose
name has not been released.
The woman remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital after suffering a gunshot
wound to the arm.
