NSW: Brogden says Carr knew consulting scandal was nothing =2

In a letter today to Mr Brogden, ICAC Commissioner Irene Moss said there was no evidenceof corrupt conduct in regard to his not declaring to parliament his directorship of familycompany Northmist.

It was through Northmist that Mr Brogden did $110,000 worth of consulting work forPricewaterhouseCoopers Legal while an MP.

Ms Moss also said there was no evidence of a breach of the code of conduct.

On allegations about cash for questions Mr Brogden asked in parliament, the commissionersaid the ICAC could not investigate.

" ... it is the commission's view that it has no power to investigate matters whichinvolve the motivations of members of parliament," she wrote.
