Vic: Melbourne radio station 3AK sold
A Perth-based digital software company has bought a controlling interest in Melbourne
AM radio station 3AK.
Data and Commerce Limited today announced its acquisition of a 50 per cent stake in
Arts and Entertainment Investments -- the company that controls 3AK.
Data and Commerce also has an option to buy the remaining 50 per cent after a full due diligence.
The station has a chequered past with ratings soaring and plummeting during its 75 year history.
