Seven years ago in Budapest, Agnes Tibor's husband decided he had simply had it with his job at a big factory that yielded small wages and scant satisfaction. He did what wasn't done routinely - walked off a government job to create something new.
"He established a company in which he really used his ideas," Tibor said Wednesday evening during a backyard Fourth of July picnic in Loudonville. "We didn't know if it would work. People were jealous or they didn't understand. But in Hungary, once you make it through the first year, it's much easier to continue."
